About Us

Hi, we're Rob & Jill

We're Rob and Jill — a husband-and-wife team who've been photographing weddings around St. Augustine since 2014. We're parents and St. Augustine locals, and after more than a decade and 600+ weddings together we still chase this city's light: the way it pours through the oak canopies and glows off the old coquina walls.

Our approach is easygoing and documentary. Rob sees light and angles like the engineer he used to be; Jill reads the room and knows just when you need a quiet minute. We're there to capture your day the way it actually feels — the belly laughs, the happy tears, the small in-between moments — not to stage it. If you want the detail on how that actually works, and where we do step in and direct, we wrote it all out on our documentary wedding photography page.

What our clients have to say
Rob and Jill are two of the nicest people we have met. They are amazing to work with and did an amazing job for my daughters wedding in October at The Treasury. Rob captured amazing photos we will treasure for a lifetime. I highly recommend them and would use them again. Thank you Rob and Jill.

Your Wedding Day Timeline

Getting ReadyFirst LookCeremonyPortraitsReceptionSend-Off

We start building your wedding photography timeline during our consultation call, then lock it in about 30 days out—ceremony time, first look, family portraits, and everything in between. Jilly is our timeline guru, so the moments that matter most to you get the time they need. Timing shifts by season—sunset is around 5pm in a St. Augustine winter and 8pm in summer, which changes when we schedule portraits. We have sample timelines for venues like The White Room, The Treasury, and Casa Monica, and customize from there. For a full walk-through, see our wedding day timeline guide with sample 4-, 6-, and 8-hour timelines.

Common questions about booking your photographer

Ask us anything

The price for partial-day coverage starts at $1,500, full-day coverage starts at $2,900, and full-day with two photographers starts at $3,400. We also offer bundle pricing when you bundle your engagement session or videography with wedding photography—a great way to save. Get a custom quote for your specific date and timeline.

Planning something smaller? If it’s a courthouse ceremony or just the two of you, you may want elopement coverage instead — that starts at $450.

Then you probably want an elopement, and that’s a very good thing to want. A courthouse ceremony, sunset vows on the beach, the two of you and a witness — these are some of our favorite days to photograph, and they don’t need a full wedding collection. Elopement coverage starts at $450 for a courthouse ceremony, against $1,500 for partial-day wedding coverage. If you’re somewhere between the two — a micro wedding with a handful of guests — tell us what you’re picturing and we’ll say which fits.

We recommend booking 9-12 months in advance, especially for peak season dates (October through May) and Saturdays. That said, we sometimes have last-minute availability—it never hurts to reach out even with a shorter timeline.

Absolutely! We've photographed throughout the state and beyond. Travel fees vary by location—reach out with your destination and we'll provide a quote.

Every package includes professionally edited images, an online collection with download rights, print rights, and a sneak peek within days. We offer partial-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) coverage. See Packages & Pricing for full details and available add-ons.

Yes! We offer wedding videography alongside photography. Having the same team handle both means seamless coordination, no extra crew competing for angles, and a cohesive visual style. See our videography packages or ask us about photo + video bundles.

The weather here is unpredictable—but we're not. We've been through hurricanes, floods, and storms that pop up out of nowhere. We keep our approach simple and our gear nimble, ready to pivot at a moment's notice. When a storm cloud appears on the horizon, Rob handles the technical logistics while Jill keeps everyone calm and informed about what's happening. It's a seamless operation. Some of our most dramatic photos have happened during or right after rain.

Absolutely! We cover all of Northeast Florida—from Jacksonville and Amelia Island to Palm Coast and everywhere in between. See our full service areas below, or send us a message with your venue location.

My approach to wedding photography is documentary—we follow you around capturing authentic moments as they unfold. For couples photos, we give direction but leave room for you to be yourselves. Our philosophy: awesome people + awesome location + good light + the right direction = awesome pictures. Some people need more space, some need more direction, and some just need to feel comfortable enough to be themselves. We adjust to whoever's in front of our camera.

In over a decade and 600+ events, we've never missed one. But we carry backup gear, liability insurance, and a network of trusted professionals who can step in if needed. Your contract covers exactly what happens in an emergency—no surprises.

Two things: hiring people they don't fully trust, and not leaving enough room. Everyone on your team should be someone who can function at 100% without being told what to do—they understand your vision and carry it out. And when we help build your timeline, we leave space for you to mingle with guests, sit and talk with grandma. The photos will always be important, but not as important as your experience.

All over the old city and the coast. A few spots we come back to again and again—the oak canopy and Spanish moss on Magnolia Avenue, the courtyards of Flagler College and the Lightner Museum, the Plaza de la Constitución downtown, the bayfront along the Bridge of Lions, the dunes at Vilano Beach, the gardens at Washington Oaks, and golden hour at the St. Augustine Lighthouse. We'll also take you for portraits near the coquina walls of the Castillo de San Marcos. If there's a corner of town that means something to you, tell us—after a decade shooting here, we probably know it. See our St. Augustine photo locations guide for more.
