We can’t give you a market average we’d stand behind, because photographers build their packages so differently. What we can tell you is what our prices buy. $1,500 covers 4 hours, which fits a ceremony, family photos, and some time for the two of you. $2,900 covers 8 hours, from the hair and makeup chair through your exit. $3,400 adds a second photographer, so we can be in two places at once.

It depends on what the $4,000 buys. With us, $3,900 buys 8 hours with Rob and Jill both photographing from start to finish. The Two Photographers collection plus a 12x12 leather-bound album with 30 lay-flat pages is $4,200.

When you compare quotes at any price, ask three things: how many hours, how many photographers, and who edits the images. We edit every image by hand, the old-fashioned way.

Whatever you spend, what matters most is finding photographers whose work you love and who you trust with your day. Price alone doesn’t tell you that, so look at full galleries, not just highlights.

For a wedding, yes. Our wedding coverage starts at $1,500 for 4 hours, so $500 doesn’t buy a wedding day with us. It does buy a courthouse ceremony. $450 covers 30 minutes at the courthouse, with 120+ edited images.

We couldn’t photograph and hand-edit a wedding day for $500. A wedding day for us is 5,000 to 8,000 frames, and we edit them down by hand to the gallery you receive. If your budget is closer to $500, an elopement gets you our full attention for a shorter stretch.

Then you probably want an elopement, and that’s a very good thing to want. A courthouse ceremony, vows on the beach, the two of you and a witness — these are some of our favorite days to photograph, and they don’t need a full wedding collection. Elopement coverage starts at $450 for a courthouse ceremony, against $1,500 for partial-day wedding coverage. If you’re somewhere between the two — a micro wedding with a handful of guests — tell us what you’re picturing and we’ll say which fits.

Partial-day coverage is 4 hours, ideal for smaller weddings, courthouse ceremonies, or celebrations with shorter timelines. Full-day coverage is 8 hours, capturing everything from getting ready through your reception sendoff. Full-day ensures we're there for every moment without watching the clock.

Two photographers means complete coverage of the moments that matter most. During getting ready, one of us is with the girls while the other is with the boys—giving you even coverage of both sides. We can photograph details and candid moments simultaneously instead of choosing one or the other.

For first looks and ceremonies, two photographers capture both expressions—your reaction AND your partner's, plus the emotions from parents and guests. These dual perspectives add context you'd otherwise miss. For larger weddings or when you want complete coverage of simultaneous moments, two photographers are worth it.

Yes. For full-day weddings, we ask for a retainer of $1,000–$1,500 to book your date, with the balance due 60 days before your wedding. We're happy to adjust the payment schedule—just ask.

The main factors are coverage hours, whether you want one or two photographers, and any add-ons like engagement sessions, albums, or videography. Travel fees apply for weddings outside the First Coast area. No travel fees for weddings in St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, the Beaches, Palm Coast, or anywhere on the First Coast. For weddings outside this area, we charge a travel fee based on distance. Destination weddings include travel costs in a custom quote.

All packages include professional editing on every image, an online gallery with full download rights, timeline planning assistance, print rights (no watermarks, print anywhere), and a sneak peek of 10-15 images within 48–72 hours of your wedding.

When you combine multiple services, we offer package pricing. Common bundles include wedding + engagement session and wedding + second photographer. The more you combine, the more you save. We'll build a custom package based on what you need.

We don't price by the hour, because a wedding takes planning, travel, and hand editing beyond the hours we're there. If you divide it out, $1,500 for 4 hours is about $375 an hour, and $2,900 for 8 hours is about $363 an hour. An extra hour on any collection is $375. Every collection includes editing, the online gallery, and print rights.

Every venue is different, and we come prepared. At indoor venues like The Treasury, we bring professional lighting for family portraits and first dances. Others like The White Room have beautiful natural light—knowing which direction the sun will be beaming in helps us position for the best shots. After 600+ weddings at First Coast venues, we know what to expect and how to make any space look great.

Less granular than you might think. We've seen timelines with down-to-the-minute execution that cause more stress than they prevent. We prefer working in blocks of time—5 minutes for bridesmaid photos, 15 minutes for family portraits—with a bit of buffer built in. When we're running 'ahead of schedule,' we get to be more creative and take photos without the pressure of a coordinator pulling the plug. We'll help you build a realistic timeline during planning.
