Alexandra & Jason’s Wedding

Alexandra and Jason are both morticians, and they leaned into that — dark florals, lanterns with roses tucked around the pews, a ring presented in a black coffin-shaped box, and deep burgundy and orange blooms throughout. The ceremony was held at St. Cyprian's, a wood-paneled church with stained glass and Gothic arches, and one of the gnarliest rainstorms St. Augustine had seen in years rolled through right along with it. Once the skies cleared, they headed outside for portraits — Alex in a tiered white dress and white boots — before making their way to Riverhouse Events for the reception, where the tables were set with teal linens and black lantern centerpieces. Out on the dock for sunset shots, three pods of porpoises showed up. The night wrapped up on the dance floor with Jason in his burgundy jacquard blazer and Alex dancing with her guests.
