Rob & Jill Futrell

St. Augustine Photographers

Husband and wife. Best friends. Florida natives.

We've spent years documenting the people who call this city home — weddings, families, businesses, couples in love. We love being St. Augustine photographers.

When you work with us, you get to actually enjoy it. We do the prep work, we stay present, we sweat the details — so by the time you see your images, the only surprise is how good they turned out.

About Us

Meet Rob & Jill

Your photographer team since 2014.

The two of us come at photography from different directions. Jill spent years as an Occupational Therapist, and it shows in how quickly people relax around her. Rob's background is software engineering, so the light, the gear, and the timeline are never an afterthought.

We're married, we live in St. Augustine, and we've photographed weddings and families here side by side for more than a decade. Our approach is simple: less posing, more paying attention. Once you stop performing for the camera, the photos start looking like you.

Our home

Why St. Augustine?

The city we love, the place we call home.

We chose this city because we loved that it has a small-town feel. Tucked away between some major cities, we get the best of both worlds. As a photographer team, we've fallen in love with the people, the places, and the memories we've made here. It's a tight-knit community and we feel lucky to be part of the fabric that makes this town special.

Quick answers to common questions

Ask us anything

Our family photography sessions start at $400. Photography pricing for ceremonies begins at $1,500 for partial-day coverage, with full-day coverage starting at $2,900. Every couple and family is different, so we'd love to hear about your specific needs—reach out and we'll put together a custom quote.

It depends on the session. Family sessions typically book 2-4 weeks ahead. Larger celebrations need more lead time—6-12 months, especially during peak season (October-May in Florida). That said, we occasionally have last-minute availability—it never hurts to ask!

Absolutely! We photograph sessions throughout the state and travel for destination work—celebrations, family reunions, corporate retreats, whatever brings you here or takes us there. No travel fee for Northeast Florida—for further destinations, contact us and we'll provide a quote.

For a typical one-hour session, you'll receive 40-60 edited images. Full-day events typically yield 700-1,100 images depending on the timeline and coverage. Every photo is individually edited—no unfinished previews or bulk dumps.

Yes! We offer videography for ceremonies and events. Having the same team handle both means seamless coordination, no competing photographers, and a cohesive visual style. Ask us about photo+video packages when you get in touch.

A great photographer knows the local landscape—which beaches face west for golden hour, where downtown light falls best, and how to use the city's architecture as a backdrop. Beyond technical skill, your photographer should make you feel comfortable and genuinely relaxed. That's what we've spent over a decade perfecting.

This area has no shortage of stunning locations. We love the beach at sunset, the cobblestone streets downtown, and hidden gems like Washington Oaks Gardens and Fort Matanzas. As your local photographer who has been shooting here since 2014, we know which spots work best for each type of session—and we're always finding new favorites.

We do! After a decade of shooting weddings around town, we've put together a guide to our favorite St. Augustine wedding venues—from historic ballrooms to beachfront settings—with notes on what makes each one special to photograph.
