Hi, we're Rob & Jill
We're Rob and Jill — a husband-and-wife team who've been photographing elopements around St. Augustine since 2014. We're parents and St. Augustine locals, and after more than a decade we still chase this city's light: the way it pours through the oak canopies and glows off the old coquina walls.
Our approach is easygoing and documentary. Rob sees light and angles like the engineer he used to be; Jill reads the room and knows just when you need a quiet minute. We're there to photograph your day the way it actually feels — the belly laughs, the happy tears, the small in-between moments — not to stage it.
Every couple is different, and that's what keeps this work fresh. We've photographed vows on Vilano Beach, in the gardens at Washington Oaks, in the Lightner Museum courtyard, and at the county courthouse, and we'll fit the day to the two of you.

Whether you call it an elopement, a micro wedding, or an intimate ceremony, the idea is the same. You skip the big production and spend the day on each other. We photograph all of it, from a courthouse ceremony with a few family members to vows on the beach with a small group of friends.
Photography starts at $450 for a 30-minute courthouse ceremony. An hour is $650 and two hours is $1,000. The price list below shows what each one includes.
Jill is an ordained officiant, so she can marry you too. If you want the officiant, location, permit, flowers, and paperwork handled in one booking, that is our all-inclusive elopement package, for $1,300.

- Downtown and the Lightner courtyard
- Mary and Brian held a quick ceremony in the Lightner Museum courtyard with a small group of close friends. Gina and Lawrence eloped at the Lightner Museum on New Year's Eve 2020 with their kids beside them.
- The beach
- Jarah and Brandon drove down from Kentucky to marry at Vilano Beach. Harlee and Tanner traveled in for an intimate Vilano Beach ceremony with the people they love most.
- Gardens and boardwalks
- Samantha and Matthew said their vows in the gardens at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, among red geraniums and Spanish moss. Kiley and Stacey chose the Fort Mose Boardwalk.
- Inns, chapels, and a place of your own
- Amanda and Max brought their families to the St. Francis Inn. Ben and Brittany exchanged vows in a small downtown chapel in front of the chapel's stained glass windows. Patrick and Kallie chose a waterfront Airbnb with a private dock over the marsh.

We hear this from almost every couple, and we love it, because the answer is easy. You already have everything this takes. You are two people who like each other. The rest is our job.
We'll help you get comfortable in front of the camera, which mostly means helping you forget it's there. If you want something timeless and intentional, we'll guide you into it. If you want it casual and candid, we'll set the scene and let you be. Every idea starts with the two of you, so nothing will feel borrowed from someone else's photos.

Our packages deliver 120+ edited images for the courthouse ceremony, 200+ for one hour, and 350+ for two hours. Your gallery arrives within 1 month and stays online for a year. We edit every image by hand and keep the color true to life, with warm skin tones and nothing overly filtered.

Most couples choose one or two hours. Thirty minutes covers a courthouse ceremony. One hour covers a ceremony (usually 10-15 minutes) plus portraits at two or three spots downtown or on the bayfront. Two hours gives you room to add a first look, a champagne toast, or a walk from the beach to downtown. We build the timeline around your day. Yes. Jill is an ordained officiant, and our all-inclusive elopement package includes her officiant services, for $1,300. You are also welcome to bring your own officiant.
It depends on the spot you choose. Public beaches and downtown streets are simple, while state parks, the lighthouse, and some venues have their own rules. We'll tell you what your location needs. Our elopement guide goes through the details place by place.

Florida weather doesn't always cooperate. We've seen sideways rain hit moments before vows. When that happens, we go into action with solutions, not questions. 'We can wait and see if this blows past, or move to this covered courtyard. It'll actually create a more intimate feel.' Downtown St. Augustine has beautiful backup spots, and we plan one with you ahead of time.
Absolutely. Modern elopements range from just the two of you to 50+ guests. It's about the vibe, not the headcount. Our coverage options work for any size, and we'll help you figure out what makes sense for your plans.
We help with the planning that touches your photos: location ideas, timeline building, officiant recommendations, permit guidance, and weather backup plans. You focus on getting married, and we'll handle the logistics.
We do. The prices on this page are photography-only, so you book us for coverage and bring your own officiant, florals, and permits. Not much. An elopement is typically just the couple (plus a photographer and officiant), while a micro wedding usually includes a small guest list, under 20 or so. The feel is the same either way, and we use 'elopement' as shorthand for all of it.
