Pricing Questions
Common questions about wedding photography costs
Our wedding photography starts at $1,400 for partial-day coverage and $2,700 for full-day coverage. Full-day coverage with two photographers starts at $3,100. Most St. Augustine weddings fall in the $2,700-$3,100 range depending on coverage needs and add-ons.
Partial-day coverage is typically 4-6 hours—ideal for smaller weddings, courthouse ceremonies, or celebrations with shorter timelines. Full-day coverage is 8-10 hours, capturing everything from getting ready through your reception sendoff. Full-day ensures we're there for every moment without watching the clock.
Two photographers means complete coverage of the moments that matter most. During getting ready, one of us is with the girls while the other is with the boys—giving you even coverage of both sides. We can photograph details and candid moments simultaneously instead of choosing one or the other.
For first looks and ceremonies, two photographers capture both expressions—your reaction AND your partner's, plus the emotions from parents and guests. These dual perspectives add context you'd otherwise miss. For larger weddings or when you want complete coverage of simultaneous moments, two photographers are worth it.
Yes. For weddings, we ask for a retainer of $1,000–$1,500 to book your date, with the balance due 60 days before your wedding. We're happy to adjust the payment schedule—just ask.
The main factors are coverage hours, whether you want one or two photographers, and any add-ons like engagement sessions, albums, or videography. Travel fees apply for weddings outside the First Coast area. We'll provide a detailed quote after discussing your specific needs.
No travel fees for weddings in St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, the Beaches, Amelia Island, Palm Coast, or anywhere on the First Coast. For weddings outside this area, we charge a travel fee based on distance. Destination weddings include travel costs in a custom quote.
All packages include professional editing on every image, an online gallery with full download rights, timeline planning assistance, print rights (no watermarks, print anywhere), and a sneak peek of 10-15 images within 48-72 hours of your wedding.
When you combine multiple services, we offer package pricing. Common bundles include wedding + engagement session, wedding + second photographer, and wedding + videography. The more you combine, the more you save. We'll build a custom package based on what you need.
It depends on what's included and your priorities. In St. Augustine and Jacksonville, quality wedding photography typically ranges from $2,500-$5,000 for full-day coverage. At $5,000, you should expect two experienced photographers, full-day coverage, professional editing, and often extras like an engagement session or album. What matters most is finding a photographer whose work you love and who you trust to capture your day—price alone doesn't tell you that.
Most wedding photographers don't price by the hour because weddings require preparation, travel, and extensive editing beyond just the hours on-site. That said, if you divide our packages by coverage hours, it works out to roughly $250-350 per hour. Our partial-day package ($1,400 for 4-6 hours) and full-day package ($2,700 for 8-10 hours) both include all editing, online gallery, and print rights.
Every venue is different, and we come prepared. Some venues like The Treasury have no natural light, so we bring professional lighting for family portraits and first dances. Others like The White Room have beautiful natural light—knowing which direction the sun will be beaming in helps us position for the best shots. After 600+ weddings at First Coast venues, we know what to expect and how to make any space look great.
Less granular than you might think. We've seen timelines with down-to-the-minute execution that cause more stress than they prevent. We prefer working in blocks of time—5 minutes for bridesmaid photos, 15 minutes for family portraits—with a bit of buffer built in. When we're running 'ahead of schedule,' we get to be more creative and take photos without the pressure of a coordinator pulling the plug. We'll help you build a realistic timeline during planning.
