Headshot Photographer St. Augustine
About Us
Hi, we're Rob & Jill
We're Rob and Jill — a husband-and-wife team who've been photographing headshots and professional portraits around St. Augustine since 2014. We're parents and St. Augustine locals, and after more than a decade we still chase this city's light: the way it pours through the oak canopies and glows off the old coquina walls.
Our approach is easygoing and unfussy. Rob sees light and angles like the engineer he used to be; Jill keeps everyone relaxed so you actually look like yourself. We're there to make the session painless and the results polished — images that represent you and your business well.

Realtor & Real Estate Headshots
Approachable and professional, in equal measure
Real estate is one of the industries where a good headshot earns business. Your photo is on yard signs, business cards, brochures, and every listing page — often before a prospective client has ever spoken to you. We photograph realtors across St. Augustine and the wider St. Johns County market, and we've seen what works for the medium.
Our realtor headshots land in the sweet spot between polished and approachable. Clients want to know you're professional and capable — and also that you're the kind of person they want to spend 90 days with while buying a house. Navy, gray, and jewel-tone blazers photograph cleanly against neutral or soft-natural backgrounds. We'll also shoot a handful of smiling and warm variations you can use for longer-form marketing where the stern-professional look doesn't fit.
We come to your brokerage office or shoot on location — downtown, beach, or against a clean studio-style backdrop we bring to you. If your team needs consistent headshots for the whole roster, the team session setup below is built for that.

Executive & Business Headshots
For attorneys, doctors, consultants, and leadership teams
For attorneys, doctors, consultants, and executives, a headshot is a credential. It shows up on firm bios, LinkedIn, conference speaker programs, press releases, and every other place where first impressions get measured before a handshake.
Most of our executive sessions run 45 minutes to an hour for a single person — enough time for two to three outfit variations, multiple backgrounds, and both the formal "in the annual report" look and the softer "on your website bio page" look. We retouch every image individually so nobody looks like they came out of a template. Skin tone evens out, temporary blemishes come off, but you still look like you — not a wax figure.
We also do firm portraits — matched sets for partners at a law firm, physicians at a practice, leadership teams at a company. Consistent lighting, consistent background, consistent style so the bios on your "About Our Team" page actually look like they belong together.
Groups & Firms
Team & Group Portraits
Consistent headshots for the whole team, on one day
When a whole team needs headshots on the same day, we set up a portable studio at your office — conference room, lobby, outdoor courtyard, whatever works. Electronic sign-up sheets assign each person a 5-10 minute slot so the day runs on rails. Every team member gets the same lighting, same background, same framing, and the same number of usable frames.
We've done teams as small as five and as large as two hundred. For larger groups, we'll often schedule across two days to keep the pace comfortable. Each person gets their own small gallery delivered within 1-2 weeks, and you get a unified "About Our Team" set that actually looks like a team.
Culture-driven companies also ask for candid group portraits — lunch, meetings, the team around a table. We can fold those in the same day.
Style Guide
What to Wear for Your Session
Look your best on camera
Solid colors photograph best. Navy, charcoal, black, and jewel tones are reliable choices. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, and neon—they pull attention away from your face.
We recommend 2-3 outfits. A blazer for the formal corporate look, a clean button-down for something more relaxed. Having choices means more flexibility during the session.
Well-fitted clothing makes a noticeable difference on camera. Make sure everything is pressed and fits comfortably—if you're tugging at your collar, it shows.
An attorney's look is different from a yoga instructor's. Dress for your audience. We'll include industry-specific guidance in your prep guide after booking.

Common questions about headshot and business portrait sessions
Individual sessions run 30-45 minutes. That gives us time for multiple backgrounds, expressions, and outfit changes. Team sessions are longer depending on group size—we build a timeline so each person gets quality time without feeling rushed.
You'll receive a curated set of fully edited images—typically 15-25 for an individual session. We'd rather give you 20 great images than 100 mediocre ones. Every photo is hand-edited and ready to use.
Solid colors work best—avoid busy patterns, logos, and neon. Navy, gray, black, and jewel tones photograph well. Bring 2-3 outfits so we have variety. We send a detailed prep guide after booking with specific recommendations based on your industry.
Yes. We bring our full lighting setup to you—conference rooms, lobbies, outdoor courtyards, wherever works best. On-location sessions mean less disruption to your team's schedule. We serve St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, and the surrounding area.
Absolutely. We set up a station and photograph each person individually so everyone gets the same quality and consistency. We've done teams from 5 to 200 people. Electronic sign-up sheets keep everything organized.

Yes—natural, professional retouching is included. We even skin tone, remove temporary blemishes, and make subtle refinements. You'll still look like you, just polished. No uncanny valley AI look.
Many of our clients specifically need updated LinkedIn photos. We shoot with platform requirements in mind—proper framing for the circular crop, backgrounds that pop in a feed, and a look that's professional but approachable.
Yes. Real estate agents, attorneys, doctors, and consultants are most of our professional-headshot clients. We know the industry-specific conventions—real estate wants approachable, law firms want credentialed, medical wants warm-professional. Your prep guide gets tailored to your industry after you book.
Yes. We bring a full portable studio to your office. Electronic sign-up sheets assign each team member a 5-10 minute slot, so we can photograph 20-50 people in a single day without disrupting your schedule. Each person gets identical lighting, background, and framing—so the firm's team page looks cohesive. Larger groups typically run across two days.
A headshot is a single portrait—one of you. A branding session is a visual library—multiple looks, multiple locations, and lifestyle shots at your desk, with clients, or in the environment you actually work in. Headshots get used on LinkedIn and bylines. Branding shots get used across your website, social media, speaking bios, and marketing materials for months. Some clients need just a headshot; coaches, consultants, and content creators usually need a full branding session.
Real Photography
Why Choose a Real Photographer Over AI
Authenticity builds trust
There's a trend where people take a cell phone picture and run it through AI—and we believe that erodes trust with potential clients. A real session captures the authentic you, not a digital approximation. Here's why that matters for your brand.
We'll take great pictures and make you look great—but it's still the real you. When a client meets you for the first time, they won't be surprised. Your photo should be honest and build trust before you even shake hands.
LinkedIn, your website, marketing materials, speaking bios—we think through all the ways you'll use these business portraits. One session gives you months of content.
Some of our clients come in more than once a year. That speaks to the value of working with an experienced team—an investment that pays for itself when the results actually drive business.
That's the heart of being a St. Augustine headshot photographer professionals trust: real light, real conversation, and the kind of portrait you can use everywhere without wishing you'd done it differently.
