Why We Love Photographing at Bowing Oaks
The oaks are the reason we get excited every time we photograph here. The branches sweep down in long arcs draped with Spanish moss. When late afternoon light filters through, it creates soft patterns that are some of the most flattering natural light in Jacksonville.
The contrast between outdoor and indoor is a big plus. We photograph under the oaks during golden hour, then move into the ballroom where chandeliers and custom lighting take over. That shift gives every gallery real range - something couples always notice in their final images.
