Katherine & Nathan’s Wedding

Katie got ready with her people while sipping something bubbly, everyone in robes and plaid, laughing before the dress went on — right down to the pearl buttons being fastened one by her mom. She carried a bouquet packed with hot pink, orange, and purple blooms that set the tone for the whole day. The ceremony took place at The Treasury on the Plaza, Nathan in a deep green suit waiting at the altar flanked by the groomspeople, and it ended with a kiss and a round of applause. Katie had planned every element around their favorite things from their favorite places — from the playlist to the masquerade masks, there was meaning behind all of it. Afterward the two of them slipped out for portraits around downtown, at the Plaza de la Constitución, and down by the bayfront as the light went soft over the water.
