Who Takes Our Pictures?

It's a fair question.

When you're the ones behind the camera, you don't end up in a lot of pictures together. Jill and I have photographed thousands of sessions over the years, but candid photos of the two of us? Not so many.

This one happened at the wedding of our good friend Michael LeGrand. Michael is an incredibly talented commercial photographer and videographer based right here in Northeast Florida. At some point during the evening, he grabbed my camera and turned it on us. No posing, no fuss — just two people who genuinely like each other, caught in a moment by someone who knows what he's doing.

Having one of my best friends — and one of the best photographers in Northeast Florida — capture this for us means more than we can say. It's the kind of photo we'd want to take for someone else, and that's the highest compliment we know how to give.
