About The Riverview Club
Riverview Club
More details Less details
The Riverview Club sits on 14 acres of manicured lawns and wildflower gardens along the Intracoastal Waterway in the St. Augustine Shores community, just 8 miles south of historic downtown. Serving the area since 1981, this waterfront venue combines natural beauty with elegant event spaces.
Two distinct ballrooms anchor the property: the grand Riverview Ballroom with glimmering chandeliers and capacity for 350 guests, and the more intimate Reflections Ballroom with hardwood floors for gatherings up to 60. Both offer elegant lighting and flexible layouts to accommodate your vision.
A 500-foot pier extending into the Intracoastal Waterway is the venue's signature feature, providing a dramatic backdrop for ceremonies and portraits. Combined with the parkland setting, native Florida landscaping, and waterfront ceremony sites, The Riverview Club offers exceptional variety for wedding photography.
Couples also get a deluxe wedding suite for getting ready, on-site event coordination, and a premium kitchen available for outside caterers. With 12 hours of event time including setup and cleanup, there's flexibility to create your ideal timeline.
Why We Love Photographing at The Riverview Club
That 500-foot pier changes everything about this venue. Walking a couple out to the end of it during golden hour, with the Intracoastal stretching in every direction, gives us compositions that feel wide open and cinematic. The water catches the light differently every time, and the distance from shore creates a sense of being in your own world for a few minutes.
The 14 acres give us real variety without driving anywhere. We can go from the manicured gardens to the wildflower areas to the waterfront edge, each with its own character. The native Florida landscaping feels natural, not staged, which helps portraits look relaxed and authentic rather than posed in front of a hedge wall.
We also like that the two ballrooms give us different interior options. The Riverview Ballroom with its chandeliers has a grand feel for reception coverage, while the Reflections Ballroom with hardwood floors has a warmer, more intimate quality. That kind of range in one venue is unusual.

Planning Your Timeline at Riverview Club
We don't publish generic sample timelines because they're useless without knowing your wedding date. Here's why:
A 5pm ceremony works beautifully in summer but means portraits in the dark in winter. Your timeline needs to be built around your actual date and what matters most to you.
