Leña is a St. Augustine asado catering experience based on the San Sebastian River. They offer a mobile asado service — bringing the full open-fire cooking experience to your event location, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, and corporate gatherings.

The name Leña (Spanish for "firewood") reflects their approach: live-fire cooking over wood, with the smoke, the ritual, and the communal energy that asado is known for. They work directly on-site, setting up their grill wherever the event is held.

We had the pleasure of photographing Leña's setup at a wedding at the Fountain of Youth. The fire station drew guests in from the start — it's hard to walk past a live asado without stopping. What stood out was how Leña integrated into the event rather than just servicing it; the cooking became part of the atmosphere. The team was accommodating and went out of their way to serve guests with dietary restrictions without making it a production.
