In-Home Newborn Photography
We come to you. Whether you're in St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, or anywhere in Northeast Florida—we'll be at your door ready to photograph your newest family member.
What we need from you:
- Natural light — a room with nice windows
- Neutral bedding or blankets — we'll use what you have
- A comfortable spot — bed, couch, or nursery
What you don't need to worry about: Your house doesn't need to be spotless. We see past the clutter and focus on your baby. We photograph around the laundry pile, the dishes in the sink, the general chaos of having a newborn. Our lens finds the beauty.
We work quietly and patiently, following baby's lead. If they need to eat, we wait. If they need to be soothed, we help. Nothing is rushed.
When to Schedule Your Newborn Session
The sweet spot for newborn photos is 5-14 days after birth. During this window, babies are extra sleepy (easier to photograph), naturally curly (that classic newborn look), and haven't had their first growth spurt yet.
Book during pregnancy. We'll set a tentative date around your due date and hold the spot loosely. Once baby arrives, text us and we'll lock in the actual session date.
Babies arrive when they want—we get it. Early? Late? Doesn't matter. We adjust.
What If Baby Comes Early or Late?
We hold your spot flexibly and finalize after birth. For preemies, we wait until baby is home, stable, and ready. Just keep us in the loop.
Can I Wait Longer Than 14 Days?
Yes, but sessions look different. Older babies are more awake, less curly, and harder to pose. That's not bad—just different. We still get beautiful images; they're just more "alert baby" than "sleepy newborn."

Tips for a Smooth Session
- Feed baby right before we arrive — sleepy babies are easier to photograph
- Keep the house warm — naked babies get cold, cold babies get fussy

A few simple tips to make your session go smoothly
Keep Baby Awake Before
Try to keep baby awake for 1-2 hours before we arrive. A sleepy baby means easier posing and peaceful photos.
Crank Up the Heat
Warm babies = happy babies. We'll need your home around 80°F for those cozy skin-to-skin and swaddled shots.
Natural Light Matters
We'll gravitate toward your best window light. If you can identify a room with large windows, that's often where the magic happens.
Have Supplies Ready
Extra diapers, wipes, blankets, and a full feeding on standby. Babies have their own schedule—we roll with it.
