Sessions That Feel Like a Date Night
We're a husband-and-wife team based in St. Augustine, and our approach is simple: make the session feel like a date. We give you prompts and movements—walk together, whisper something funny, slow dance—and let the real stuff happen in between. Our editing style leans natural and clean. Warm skin tones, real colors, nothing overly filtered.

Every session starts with a planning conversation — we talk about your style, your vision, and locations you have in mind. From there, we build the experience around you.

We brainstorm locations, timing, and what to wear for the best results.
Reserve your date with a signed contract and small retainer.
We send a style guide and finalize the details so you're ready.
We guide you through natural prompts — think date night, not awkward portraits.

Engagement Photo Locations in St. Augustine
St. Augustine is gorgeous — cobblestone alleys, Spanish colonial architecture, live oaks draped in moss, all within walking distance. As experienced photographers in St. Augustine, FL, we'll recommend locations based on your style, the time of year, and the vibe you're going for.
Downtown Historic District
St. George Street, Flagler College, Lightner Museum, the Plaza — Spanish colonial architecture at every turn. Oak trees, moss, and cobblestone alleys hundreds of years old.
Waterfront & Beaches
St. Augustine Beach, Vilano Beach, Anastasia State Park. The Bayfront and Bridge of Lions are some of the most beautiful spots we photograph — we try to work them into every downtown session.
Parks & Gardens
Washington Oaks Gardens, Treaty Oak Park, Fountain of Youth. Lush greenery, secluded spots, and gorgeous light filtering through the canopy.
Nights of Lights (Nov-Jan)
Downtown transforms with millions of white lights during the holiday season. We recommend a mix of before-dark and after-dark shooting for stunning bokeh.

When to Book Your Session
Timing is flexible. Some couples book a year in advance, others a month before the wedding. If you want the photos for save-the-dates, aim for at least 3-4 months out. But there's no wrong time — whatever works for your schedule.
Season considerations: Spring and fall offer the best light and comfortable temperatures. November through January brings the Nights of Lights — magical for downtown sessions. Summer works too, but we'll recommend early morning or late evening to avoid the midday heat.
Sessions can be bundled with wedding packages or booked separately. Either way, you'll walk into your ceremony already comfortable with your photographers and confident about being in front of the camera.
Many of our engagement clients are also wedding clients — having the same photographer through your whole journey means less stress when the big day arrives. We also photograph elopements for couples planning a more intimate Florida celebration.

Common questions about engagement sessions
There's no wrong time. Some couples book a year out, others a month before the wedding. If you want the images for save-the-dates, aim for at least 3-4 months before. But we're flexible—whatever works for your schedule.
We offer two options: a 30-minute session at one location, or a 1-hour session at two locations. The 30-minute session is great for couples who just need clean, simple portraits. The hour session gives you time for outfit changes, multiple spots, and more variety.
We'll send you a detailed style guide after booking. General advice: coordinate but don't match exactly, avoid busy patterns, and choose clothes you feel confident in. Bring a change of outfit if you want variety.
Almost everyone says this! We give you prompts and movements—walking, whispering something funny, slow dancing—so you're not just standing there stiffly. By the end, you'll forget the camera is there.
Absolutely. Pets are welcome at outdoor sessions. We've had dogs, cats, and even a parrot join us. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Yes! We offer hidden proposal photography where we blend in and capture the moment. Many people book both—the proposal, then a full session later.
