Helen and Saje's engagement session at Washington Oaks was one of those perfect late November afternoons. We explored the gardens and oak-lined paths as the golden hour light filtered through the Spanish moss, spent some time by the gazebo and reflecting pond, and caught Helen among the roses. As sunset approached, we headed to the waterfront where I captured this ring of fire shot with the sun setting behind them over the Matanzas River. These two have such an easy, natural connection that made the whole session feel effortless.
