Thomas & Colleen’s Proposal

Thomas contacted us from Charlotte, where he and Colleen both work as engineers, and gave us his vision: candles, the beach, and the light coming up over the water. He set up a ring of candles on the sand at Vilano Beach and got down on one knee just as the sky went pink and red. After Colleen said yes, they took a minute to admire the ring — a solitaire on a gold band — before we made portraits along the shore. They walked the wet sand hand in hand, and Thomas lifted Colleen right into a wave breaking behind them as the color faded from the sky.
