St. Augustine's Nights of Lights transforms the historic district into a winter wonderland from mid-November through late January. After photographing dozens of weddings during this season, we've learned exactly when and where couples can make the most of this magical backdrop.
The season officially kicks off with Light-Up! Night, the annual lighting celebration in the Plaza de la Constitución, typically on a Saturday in mid-November. The display then runs every evening through late January — the 2026-2027 season runs November 21, 2026 through January 18, 2027 — when more than 3 million white lights illuminate the historic district's trees, buildings, and landmarks.
