David and Dani chose to embrace simplicity with an intimate wedding at the St. Augustine Clerk of Courts. In a gesture that perfectly captured their laid-back style, they opted for his and her Nike shoes, adding a touch of personal flair to their special day. The historic courthouse, with its classic architecture, provided a charming backdrop for their vows, creating a blend of tradition and modernity that fit David and Dani’s unique personalities.
The decision to have a courthouse wedding reflected their focus on what truly matters—each other. Surrounded by the warmth of a few close witnesses, including myself, they exchanged vows that felt both personal and timeless. This minimalistic celebration allowed the essence of their love to take center stage, free from distractions and frills. I captured a handful of candid photos, preserving the sincerity of the moment and the joy shared between them. It was a beautiful reminder that, at the heart of every wedding, there’s a story about two people making a lifelong commitment, no matter the setting or attire. David and Dani’s day was a testament to the beauty of keeping things simple and meaningful.

Meg, whom we first met while she was studying communications at Flagler College, embarked on travels through Australia and Asia after graduation. Upon returning to the U.S., she joined our team for a summer and became the best assistant we've ever had. That same year, she met Nate in Jacksonville. After the Navy relocated them to Hawaii and then New Orleans, Meg opened her own photography studio called Melleaux Photo. When she asked us to photograph her wedding, we were thrilled. The preparations took place at the stylish Virgin Hotel, and the couple exchanged vows at the picturesque Swoop Duggins house. The magical celebration included dancing, drinks with close friends, a New Orleans Second Line, and tarot card readings.
Lindsay and Geoffrey's wedding at the Corazon.
After hurricane Matthew passed I started going through my recent weddings to find some photos of my favorite landmarks, locations and venues. The Corazon is high on that list and when I came across Lindsay and Geoff's wedding images all of the memories from that awesome day came back.
Just like the rest of St. Augustine the The Corazon is back in business and will be re-opening this week!
Birthday break this weekend.
We took some time off from the normal weekend activities to celebrate my little bear turning 6 and to eat cake. I let him stay up late on birthday eve so he could build this racing car - it came with its own tools and he thought that was very awesome.
I love that I can see his determination and total focus in this frame. This is when he is happiest - he is the very best things of me and so much more. I can't wait to see how far he goes.
