SOFTWARE FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
LR OPTIMIZE
IS YOUR LIGHTROOM RUNNING SLOW?
Adobe Lightroom is at the center of my editing workflow. As powerful as it is, Lightroom isn’t without its flaws. One issue that arises every couple months is a noticeable slowdown in performance, especially when navigating through images or opening them in the Develop module. After some research, I discovered that Lightroom doesn’t effectively manage its image cache. Left unchecked, the cache can grow to hundreds of gigabytes, causing Lightroom to slow down as it continuously indexes the data.
To address this, I developed a tool that monitors the status of Lightroom’s various caches and catalogs. The software also allows you to delete preview files, which I've found to be the main culprit behind Lightroom’s slowdowns.

HOW I GOT IN TO COMPUTERS
An old computer I found in my school attic was my entry into the world of technology.
Shortly after getting it booted up, an employee at a local computer store near my home introduced me to the BASIC programming language. That same day, I wrote my first program, a video game.
My first software job involved creating automation routines for a big bank, so when I transitioned into photography, it felt natural to look for ways to automate the repetitive tasks photographers face every day.
This curiosity led me to develop software specifically for photographers, streamlining tasks like organizing, and managing files, allowing them to focus more on creativity and less on tedious work.
