David and Dani chose to embrace simplicity with an intimate wedding at the St. Augustine Clerk of Courts. In a gesture that perfectly captured their laid-back style, they opted for his and her Nike shoes, adding a touch of personal flair to their special day. The ceremony was short and sweet, filled with authentic emotion and genuine smiles. The historic courthouse, with its classic architecture, provided a charming backdrop for their vows, creating a blend of tradition and modernity that fit David and Dani’s unique personalities.
The decision to have a courthouse wedding reflected their focus on what truly matters—each other. Surrounded by the warmth of a few close witnesses, including myself, they exchanged vows that felt both personal and timeless. This minimalistic celebration allowed the essence of their love to take center stage, free from distractions and frills. I captured a handful of candid photos, preserving the sincerity of the moment and the joy shared between them. It was a beautiful reminder that, at the heart of every wedding, there’s a story about two people making a lifelong commitment, no matter the setting or attire. David and Dani’s day was a testament to the beauty of keeping things simple and meaningful.

Meg, whom we first met while she was studying communications at Flagler College, embarked on travels through Australia and Asia after graduation. Upon returning to the U.S., she joined our team for a summer and became the best assistant we've ever had. That same year, she met Nate in Jacksonville. After the Navy relocated them to Hawaii and then New Orleans, Meg opened her own photography studio called Melleaux Photo. When she asked us to photograph her wedding, we were thrilled. The preparations took place at the stylish Virgin Hotel, and the couple exchanged vows at the picturesque Swoop Duggins house. The magical celebration included dancing, drinks with close friends, a New Orleans Second Line, and tarot card readings.
Current feels: Celebrating!
I have been offline for the last couple of weeks keeping up with our busy Summer wedding schedule while moving into the new space. We are still slowing getting things online but we are getting closer to 100% each day.
I am not allowed to spray champagne all over the office so instead I am sharing this awesome image of Ben and Sarah celebrating their engagement from a few weeks ago. Jill (who is holding a light just out of frame) took a direct him and smelled like a party the whole way home!
I hope this image brings a smile the same smile to your face that it brings to ours! :)
repost - for a good friend.
I know this is a repost but a good friend asked me to put it out there one more time.
The right place at the right time.
Kelly and Rob traveled to St. Augustine for their engagement session with me so naturally I was hoping for awesome weather. They were making the most of their trip - Kelly was knocking out some of her pre-wedding meetings as well as getting her hair / make-up trial with my amazingly talented friend Sarina Durden before our session together.
As we were wrapping up our session and heading back to the cars the sun gave us one more little burst of light and I asked Rob if he had another pose left in him - he picked Kelly up and gave us five of my favorite frames of the night.
Happy to be in the right place at the right time that night! :)
