During the reception, the couple snuck away to capture a few romantic photos amid the enchanting Nights of Lights. Meg, whom we first met while she was studying communications at Flagler College, embarked on travels through Australia and Asia after graduation. Upon returning to the U.S., she joined our team for a summer and became the best assistant we've ever had. That same year, she met Nate in Jacksonville. After the Navy relocated them to Hawaii and then New Orleans, Meg opened her own photography studio called Melleaux Photo. When she asked us to photograph her wedding, we were thrilled. The preparations took place at the stylish Virgin Hotel, and the couple exchanged vows at the picturesque Swoop Duggins house. The magical celebration included dancing, drinks with close friends, a New Orleans Second Line, and tarot card readings.

Bikram yogi and all around amazing person, Amanda, woke up at the crack of dawn and met me at my favorite beach to sit for a few photos. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the focus and strength required to hold these poses as she the waves kept knocking at her... It was one of those amazing moments where everything came together for a fantastic frame.

Weekly Wrap Up.

I love the busy season and we are in full swing right now. From top to bottom we have a frame from my shoot with Jeanetta, Syd’s shoot at the farm, Es big swim, Jen 2.0 mommy shoot and a local surfer riding  some waves churned up from Tropical Storm Andrea. Tomorrow, I am packing up the wagon and heading south with the family for some work and hopefully for a little R&R. I will share pictures as I get access to Internet.
