David + Dani’s Wedding at the St Augustine Clerk of Courts

For David and Dani, their elopement at the St Augustine Clerk of Courts was all about breaking traditions, keeping things real, and celebrating their love in a way that was uniquely them. With his and her matching Nike shoes and a quick ceremony, they tied the knot in fun and effortless style.

A Personal, Casual Ceremony

David and Dani’s choice to elope wasn’t about skipping out on a wedding—it was about focusing on what truly mattered: their love for each other. They showed up to the St. Augustine Clerk of Courts wearing matching Nike sneakers, a nod to their relaxed personalities and a symbol of walking through life together in perfect sync.

The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, with only the closest of friends and family in attendance. I was lucky enough to be there, signing as a witness and watching as these two committed their lives to each other in the most authentic way possible. In those moments, it was clear that their connection went far beyond the traditional frills and expectations. It was raw, real, and absolutely beautiful.

Quick Photos, Big Smiles

After saying “I do,” we had just enough time to snap a few quick photos to capture the day. The St. Augustine courthouse, with its simple architecture and historic charm, provided a lovely backdrop for their casual yet chic style. We took pictures of them laughing, holding hands, and showing off their matching Nike kicks—a playful twist that added a touch of fun to the traditional setting.

Even in the short photo session, their love shone through in every shot. Whether it was a shared smile, a stolen glance, or the way they stood shoulder to shoulder, you could tell that this was a couple who didn’t need anything elaborate to celebrate what they had found in each other.
