Origin Story
Like FileFlow this tool started out as a set of batch files. I spend hours each day in Lightroom so when it is not running quickly i notice it.

The Checklist
When LightRoom starts to slow down I like to check these settings:
✓ Does your root drive have at least 10% free space (C:\ in my case)
✓ Does the drive that your catalogue resides on have at least 10% free space (D:\ in my case)
✓ Has your catalogue been compressed recently?
✓ Have you cleared the Previews?
✓ have you cleared the Smart Previews?

90% of the time when I see Lightroom performing poorly it is because of one of these issues. I created this tool to show me the size of the Catalogue, the helper files, the sync cache (something I use a lot), and the previews. In most cases I don’t need the previews after I have edited a session and if I do need them they can be re-generated via Lightroom. As you can see in the screen shot my cache is over 42 gigabytes which is huge.
