Teach It Tuesday.
In today's image we use Photoshop to complete an idea or concept that just could not be done in reality. This shot uses two photographs and a handful of tricks to make this happen.
In the first frame, you can see that the model is standing on a ledge safely on a street corner. The first thing that I want to do is fix the angles on that brick wall. Then I work on matching the color, shape and contrast as best I can. Next, I add the skyline photo which needed adjustments to color, brightness and contrast. Lastly, I lay in a texture to bump up the "grit" and tone of the image.
In all, this edit took about an hour to complete and ran up about 30 layers.
